Sorry To Be Away but promise to return soon with photos and stories and more!
This message is as much for the many visitors at Our Enchanted Garden website as for the MindSay clans!

So sorry to have been away so long, but celebrating life, birthdays, including a birth in the family, spring and the life of my brother who left our world suddenly on April Fool's Day has put a toll on my time and my ability to write just now. Two posts at my personal blog imcheryl  can give you more details about loosing my brother and also to learn about a new job I was supposed to start on Monday and will start later today instead. It's NOT an assignment, NOT a temporary placement this time. This is permanent employment and I'm looking forward to it!

My website also needs an update! That will be the next job to tackle when I have more free time to spend with it. I had switched servers and the move has caused some of the site to be inaccessible. For that I humbly apologize and I hope to get all of it in order soon. Please bear with me as I work through these issues and get myself back on track!

The garden is doing well and things are growing fast! I have all sorts of bulbs and perennial plants popping up and hope to get back to a more solid routine over the next couple of weeks to document the goings on! Today we're having another slight warm spell - but it's been cooling down steadily over the past couple of days and it looks like we may even get a touch of snow by tomorrow. This will be good for maple syrup producers in the area because we need cold overnight temperatures and above freezing days to keep the sap flowing! Their production figures are down so far so this little reprieve will help. And it'll help the nearby ski resorts as well. Hockley Valley is no longer running and I'm sure many other hills are closed but a few, like Blue Mountain up near Collingwood, hope to be open through the Easter Weekend.

Speaking of Easter - I've never seen rabbits in my garden, likely because we have a fenced in back yard... but I got the sweetest call from my granddaughter last Sunday night telling me about the Easter Bunny she'd seen in their garden. "The Easter Bunny came to visit Grandma!" she said to me in the sweetest "tiny person" voice, of course my daughter helped her make the call but it was Vanessa's idea to call Grandma and let her know the Easter bunny had been by for a visit. (A wild rabbit had ventured into their back yard that day!) And would I be coming to visit soon? What sweet surrender it is to fall in love with the heart of a child! And she knows her Grandmother who comes to play with her - what fun, the mind of a two year old! And what fun for her hippy-dippy Grandmother too!

So if all goes well I'll be back with info on the garden soon and updating here and at the website to share the wonders and magic that is spring in the garden and we'll watch the garden grow together!
Special Easter Blessings to all! Hold your family and loved ones close; show you love them dearly! Be well!
