Osprey Shots
As promised, let me share a few lucky shots I captured of the osprey that live near town at a reservoir called Guelph Lake. Several nesting poles and tall trees are available for nesting sites around the shallow marsh side of the lake. This Family though seem bent on nesting on this electrical pole, they've been nesting here for several years. It's possible they like the view of the lake from the top of the pole.
As we drove past Guelph Lake a week or two ago John and I decided to stop and watch the nest a while with hopes we might catch a glimpse of the adults or their young, it wasn't long before we spied one of the adults circling nearby;

I then managed to frame in a few views of the nest, and the approaching osprey near sunset;
And then this shot;
We'll nurture the garden and all its' aspects and help it produce some healthy vibrant food for our family.
And then this shot;
I'll have to spend a bit more time wandering around the lake. I could manage some better images with just a bit of patience.
Hope you enjoy the views!
Quick Garden Update;
All are doing well though the plants experienced some shock from the transplant coupled with the hot and smoggy day we had. A good soaking when I got home helped to revive them. I have to pick more strawberries tomorrow and there's lettuces ready to start using in salads - yeah! Little green onions and radishes will be ready soon too and the asparagus is already finishing it's production! It doesn't take long once the warm weather hits.
