Keisha In The Strawberries In Enchanting Morning Light
Thought I'd share these latest photographs I managed to snap early on Tuesday morning just as the sun was popping over the garden fence. On my last entry I spoke of taking photos in setting sunlight and how the light is so special. That's also true of early morning light and I've a few shots to share that really help to prove out that theory;
Keisha In The Strawberries At First Light
What a lucky little shot I think I've caught here. First light just kissing Keisha's nose! She looks as though she's being told to get out of the strawberries! We'll be framing this shot once I get a professional print done, it's just so pretty!
Here Keisha is helping pull the grasses out of the strawberry patch! That's her version of salad greens!
Here's a beautiful view of the strawberry flowers. One bloom is already beginning to form a berry! Yippeee! By mid to late June we'll be picking these for breakfast - provided the squirrels and robins don't get to them first!
When it comes to spring and summer goodness from the garden - this is something I find worth celebrating!
Update on the weather in the garden; this is day two of a mini heat wave we're having... It's currently 29 C and with the humidex it feels like 33 C, wind is out of the SW at 30 km/hr, Humidity is 40%, which is very low for our region, Barometric pressure is at 102.36 kPa and falling. Tomorrow should be a similar day, perhaps a bit cooler with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. The weekend will be a bit cooler, with rain possible on Sunday. We'll take the rain - it's help these strawberries get big and luscious and ripe! Yum! And next week the weather network suggests, will be a bit more "like normal" - we'll find out then just what they mean by normal!
All the best to you and yours! Will share a few more shots again soon!
