Daylight Savings Time
The snow is melting fast and the rivers are flowing freely already here in Guelph. Today it's -2C and will go to 5C by mid day. The sun has been warm and the skies clear for a few days. Today we can expect a light rain which will help get rid of more of the snow. This time last year the snow was already gone and my daffodils were beginning to poke through the ground - just barely - but they were there!
Daylight savings means the mornings are dark again, but that'll improve in a few weeks as the sun climbs higher in the sky. At least the day will seem longer at the end and we'll be able to enjoy a nice walk watching the sun set if it's not raining too hard this evening.
Should be even warmer tomorrow up to double digits - Yippeeeeee! We will see more colder weather by the weekend and there's talk we may even get a little snow storm by Saturday, darn! Still spring is not far off and the evidence is beginning to prove that out!
Winds are out of the South a 6 km/hr Humidity is currently at 69% and the Barometer is at 102.48 and falling, (meaning rain or change is on the way!) Tomorrow it's predicted we'll reach 11 C - and that I'll look forward to even if it is followed by a bit more snow! (Keep your fingers crossed that I don't have to shovel it - my back would appreciate it!)
More garden pictures will arrive soon!
